The Naples Area Board of REALTORS® currently has a membership of +7,500 people. Interviews with the candidates were designed to provide the board’s membership with information as to which of the candidates were best qualified and most educated in priority land use and property rights issues.

Ian Rudnick is a long time Naples resident, who honorably served the City of Naples Police Department for 17 years. Ian comes from a family with a long tradition of public service. Following his retirement from the Naples Police Department, Ian realized he still had more work to do. We know that Ian’s stated goals of public safety, environmental protection, and fiscal responsibility are more than just campaign slogans. Seeing Ian‘s career progression within the police department, we witnessed Ian live these ideals on a daily basis.
FOP Lodge #38 knows that Ian Rudnick will continue his dedication to public service, bringing a fresh perspective to Naples City Council. Ian is the best candidate to protect the best of Naples, while also intelligently guiding it into the future.

His proven track record as a law enforcement officer with the Naples Police Department also demonstrates his commitment to keeping the community safe. Local 2174 firmly believes he will serve thoughtfully and sensibility, while offering a fresh perspective that will advance and enhance the quality of life for City of Naples residents and visitors.

Price’s public service started in 2001 when he was appointed to the City of Naples Planning Advisory Board. He was appointed to the Naples City Council in September 2005; then elected to the same office in February 2006, 2010 and 2018. In January 2013, the Governor and Cabinet of the State of Florida appointed Price to the Participant Local Government Advisory Council, where he currently serves as its Chairman.
In his endorsement of Ian Rudnick, Price cited Rudnick’s personal character and 30+ years in Naples, including 17 years with the Naples Police Department. “Anyone can learn the issues, but a strong set of values is something you can’t teach. Ian has demonstrated through a 17-year career serving this city that he possesses what is needed to make decisions that have the community’s interest at heart.”

Established in 1991, NBG was founded by leaders with a combined 200+ years of devoted local community service and remains the most active and longest operating Political Committee in Collier County.
As part of its mission to promote better government in the City of Naples, NBG meets individually with each candidate to discuss their qualifications and platform statement requested and provided prior to the interview. In announcing its endorsement of Rudnick, NBG cited his “grasp of the issues facing the City” and willingness to do whatever he could do to get the City running efficiently under the leadership of a new City Manager.

A retired health care executive, Seigel moved to Naples nearly 20 years ago. She served on Naples City Council from 2016 and 2020 after extensive community service, including serving as a member of the City of Naples Planning Advisory Board, President and Membership Chair of the Park Shore Association, founder of The Park Shore Fund, and secretary/treasurer of the Devils Lake Association.
In her endorsement of Ian Rudnick, Seigel recognized the former law enforcement officer with the Naples Police Department as energetic, optimistic, fair and accomplished. “We need to bring civility and honor back to our local government.
